MANUFACTURERS' WARRANTIES

Manufacturers have varying requirements for registration, approvals, transferability (many warranties only provided coverage to the original purchaser), etc. It is the end-user's responsibility to understand the coverages and limitations of these warranties as well as product registration requirements.
For Dometic units purchased and installed by Cool Boats, LLC, we will handle interacting with Dometic for the warranty and obtain the necessary approvals. For all other manufacturers, you need to contact them first to initiate the warranty request and obtain any necessary approvals, RMA's etc.

Dometic Marine units' warranty overview:
WHAT’S COVERED
The Dometic products under this limited warranty are to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of sale and under normal use. If Dometic determines to its satisfaction that a Dometic product contains such a defect during the applicable Warranty Periods set out within Section 4 "COVERAGE PERIOD AND TABLE OF WARRANTY PERIODS", then Dometic shall, at Dometic’s sole option, repair or replace the Dometic product, or refund the original purchase price. Note: Where labor is included for a particular Dometic product covered under this Limited Warranty (See Section 4 COVERAGE PERIOD AND TABLE OF WARRANTY PERIODS), Dometic is not responsible for additional labor charges associated with the removal, reinstallation, or replacement of any equipment or furnishings beyond the particular covered Dometic product. This Dometic Limited Warranty allows up to 1.0 hour for the Servicing Dealer’s travel time. Any additional travel time is the owner’s sole responsibility. This Limited Warranty is made in lieu of all other express warranties, obligations, or liabilities on the part of Dometic. In those instances, in which Dometic chooses to make a cash refund of the original purchase price, such refund shall affect the cancellation of the contract of sale without reservation of rights on the part of the owner. Such refund shall constitute full and final satisfaction of all claims which the owner has or may have against Dometic resulting from any actual or alleged breach of warranty, either express or implied. IN NO EVENT SHALL DOMETIC BE LIABLE FOR EITHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES ANY DAMAGE TO ANOTHER PRODUCT OR PRODUCTS RESULTING FROM SUCH A DEFECT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. WHAT’S NOT COVERED
This Warranty Shall Not Apply to:
- Failures resulting from improper or faulty installation, installation that does not comply with Dometic’s instructions or otherwise, installation that does not comply with any American Boat and Yacht Council (“ABYC”) standards, and any damage resulting from such.
- Failures resulting from abuse, misuse, accident, fire, submergence, improper application or use contrary to instructions.
- Failures resulting from lack of regular preventative maintenance as outlined within the Operator’s Manual specific to your Dometic product.
- Any Dometic product, which has been altered so as to impair its original characteristics.
- Items not manufactured by Dometic.
- Dometic products used by or applied by the owner as an integral part of products not manufactured by Dometic.
- Additional labor charges associated with the removal, reinstallation, or replacement of any equipment or furnishings beyond the particular covered Dometic product. The original installer or OEM is responsible for the accessibility of the Dometic product.
- The Servicing Dealer’s travel costs in excess of 1.0 hour.
- Pumps with cracked heads or pumps that have been run dry, are water damaged or have blown freeze plugs.
- The following components: pump seals, UV light bulbs, sea strainer elements, cartridge filter elements, sand & gravel in a multi-media filter, pump packing assemblies, pump valve assemblies, pump crankcase oil, fuses, valve seals and packings, membrane elements and liquid line filter dryers.
- Gauge instrument calibration.
- Exterior corrosion.
- Water damage, including specifically to the following components: pumps, blowers, logic boards and displays heads.
- Logic boards with blown metal-oxide varisters (MOVs) (Power Surge).
- Incorrect programming of displays.
- Dirty Condensers and/or Evaporators.
- Failures due to improper winterization.
- Dometic product damage as a result of improper return packaging or other freight damage.
- Replacement of refrigerant with substitute without Dometic preauthorization.
- Environmental and/or Recovery Fees.
- Welding and Nitrogen Fees. Installation and application of Dometic products are not warranted by Dometic because Dometic has no control or authority over the selection, location, application, or installation of Dometic products.

Norcold Marine refrigerator overview:
Norcold Inc. warrants to the original purchaser, dual electric refrigerators to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (2) two-years from the date of purchase as long as the refrigerator is used for personal, family, or domestic purposes. Dual electric refrigerators used in commercial marine applications are warranted for a period of (90) ninety days from the date of purchase. The limited warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE INCLUDES:
Norcold Inc. warrants to the original purchaser, dual electric refrigerators to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (2) two-years from the date of purchase as long as the refrigerator is used for personal, family, or domestic purposes. Dual electric refrigerators used in commercial marine applications are warranted for a period of (90) ninety days from the date of purchase. The limited warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE INCLUDES:
- Parts and labor for repair or replacement of defective parts.
- Freight (ground service only) for shipment of a replacement part and for shipment of a part required to be returned to Norcold Inc.
- The travel-time charge of the service provider for up to one-half hour if a defective part needs to be replaced.

Mabru Power Systems marine ac overview:
The limited warranty provided by Mabru Power Systems, Inc. ("Mabru") applies to the original purchaser ("owner") of Mabur-manufactured products or components ("Mabru products"). This warranty cover defect in nmaterial and workmanship under normal use.
If Mabru, at its discretion, determines that a Mabru product is defective within the applicable warranty periods specified in Section 4, Mabru will either repair or replace the product or refund the original purchase price. Note that labor charges for removal, reinstallation, or replacement beyond the covered Mabru product are the owner’s responsibility. Warranty Service Procedure

- Preferred Option: Have a Mabru-authorized Servicing Dealer perform the necessary repairs. Contact Mabru Customer Service for recommendations or directly reach out to an authorized dealer.
- Second Option: If no authorized dealer is available in your area, Mabru may authorize a local dealer, with Mabru assisting as needed.
- Third Option: Send the product to Mabru's factory for repairs. Mabru will return the product within approximately three weeks, with shipping costs covered if the claim is valid and the product is less than one (1) year old.

- Mabru – Direct Expansion SC Series Self-Contained Units: 2 years (1-year parts and labor, 2nd year parts only), not to exceed three years from the date of production.
- Mabru – Air Handlers Chilled Water Systems: 2 years (1-year parts and labor, 2nd year parts only), not to exceed three years from the date of production.
- Pumps: 1-year parts only
- Compressors: Lifetime warranty
- Replacement parts and components: 90 days parts only
- All sale types: 1-year parts and labor, not to exceed three years from the date of manufacture.
Marine Battery Chargers
- All sale types: 1-year parts and labor, not to exceed three years from the date of manufacture.

Webasto marine units overview:
- The quality and operation of Webasto Feel Cool Fast products are warranted by Webasto for a period of (2) two years, beginning from the date of installation, and not to exceed (3) years from the date of invoice to the installer. The warranty period for Feel Cool Fast units installed by a vessel manufacturer as original equipment begins with the commissioning of the vessel to the customer.
- This warranty is valid only for Feel Cool Fast products sold by and/or installed by Webasto Product personnel, Webasto Authorized Dealers or by a vessel manufacturer as original equipment.
- This warranty obligation is limited to repair and replacement. It does not cover:
- Incidental and or consequential damages. *
- Failure of the Feel Cool Fast equipment due to normal wear, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance, alteration, civil disturbance, or
- act of God.
- This limited warranty is extended only to the original owner and is not transferable.
- While warranty is provided to the “original end-user”, it is to be administered and serviced through an authorized
Webasto dealer in accordance with the Webasto warranty policy or contractual agreement between Webasto and a

Spot-Zero standard warranty
This standard warranty covers parts and labor for built-in equipment and parts for mobile products only, or otherwise as defined in a commercial agreement / purchase order, and/or SPOT ZERO ’s proposal / quotation, and normal reasonable shipping charges of repaired or replacement items from SPOT ZERO ’s facility to the customer. This standard warranty starts from the first-use date as recognized by bill of sale or aftermarket installation date, and is effective for:
This standard warranty covers parts and labor for built-in equipment and parts for mobile products only, or otherwise as defined in a commercial agreement / purchase order, and/or SPOT ZERO ’s proposal / quotation, and normal reasonable shipping charges of repaired or replacement items from SPOT ZERO ’s facility to the customer. This standard warranty starts from the first-use date as recognized by bill of sale or aftermarket installation date, and is effective for:
- Twelve (12) Months or 1000 hours for a New Vessel Purchaser, beginning on the vessel's delivery date to the purchaser & recognized by the bill of sale.
- Spot Zero may void warranty if the vessel is not delivered to the purchaser within three years from the date the Boat Manufacturer received the equipment.
- Twelve (12) Months or 1000 hours for a Direct Purchaser, beginning on the date the equipment’s installation is completed on an existing vessel, recognized as an aftermarket or refit sale.
- Twelve (12) Months for mobile products, beginning on the date the product was manufactured or proof of invoice from any authorized reseller.
- Twelve (12) Months or 2000 hours for HD systems and include either scenario above unless otherwise specified.

Frigoboat (Coastal Climate Control) standard warranty
Coastal Climate Control (Company) warrants that if any part of a new system that includes the accompanying product proves to be defective to the original user in material or workmanship within the limits of the schedule below, the company will, at the company's option, either replace or repair that part without charge.
- Items replaced or repaired under warranty are covered only for the remainder of the term of the original warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
Coastal Climate Control (Company) warrants that if any part of a new system that includes the accompanying product proves to be defective to the original user in material or workmanship within the limits of the schedule below, the company will, at the company's option, either replace or repair that part without charge.
- Compressor (excluding Controller): ............. 5 years from date of purchase

- Items replaced or repaired under warranty are covered only for the remainder of the term of the original warranty.
This warranty does not cover:

- Damage, failure, or malfunction due to, or arising from, improper, faulty, or unapproved installation, servicing, and/or application, and from failing to strictly follow the guidelines included with the equipment and in the Installation & Instruction Manual.
- Any component of a system that is not comprised solely of Frigoboat supplied refrigeration parts.
- Damage, failure, or malfunction resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, modification, Acts of God, or service by personnel other than those pre-authorized by the Company.
- Damage, failure, or malfunction resulting from inadequate or faulty power supply to the system, or improper, faulty, or unsafe vessel wiring.

These warranties apply only to products installed in any one of the fifty states of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the ten provinces of Canada. The warranties do not cover any parts or labor to correct any defect caused by negligence, accident or improper use, maintenance, installation, service, repair, acts of God, fire, flood or other natural disasters. The product must be installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with your product’s User Guide.
Any warranty that may be implied in connection with your purchase or use of the product, including any warranty of merchantability or any warranty fit for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of these warranties, and only extends to five years in duration for the parts described in the section related to the five-year limited warranty above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

- The start of U-Line’s obligation is limited to four years after the shipment date from U-Line.
- In-home instruction on how to use your product is not covered by these warranties.
- Food, beverage, and medicine loss are not covered by these warranties. •
- If the product is located in an area where U-Line factory authorized service is not available, you may be responsible for a trip charge or you may be required to bring the product to a U-Line factory authorized service location at your own cost and expense.
- Units purchased after use as floor displays, and/or certified reconditioned units, are covered by the limited one-year warranty only and no coverage is provided for cosmetic defects.
- Signal issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity are not covered by these warranties.
