All Cool Boats LLC customers agree to the following terms and conditions with the submittal of a request for service:
- Cool Boats LLC will do what is needed to complete the requested service - but this may require more than one visit to the vessel depending on the requirements for repair.
- All requests for estimates that require one of our techs to come aboard will be charged the $225 service call fee. This fee is to be paid in advance of the start of any work on an accepted estimate. This charge will be deducted as a credit from the final invoice on the accepted estimate.
- All requests for service must be submitted on one of our submittal forms.
- Our invoices are due upon receipt. Please white list our CSM email as they sometimes land in spam/junk folders [email protected]
- We do provide warranty work for units that we are authorized service providers. For Dometic warranties and units that Cool Boats LLC directly installed on vessels, we will handle the warranty with the manufacturer. For all other warranties, including postpaid third-party warranties, the customer or broker must handle the warranty directly. It is vital to understand that manufacturer warranties DO NOT cover all expenses involved with warranty repairs and that the costs not covered are the responsibility of the vessel owner or agent.
- When requesting warranty service, please ensure that the requested unit has been registered with the manufacturer and you've reviewed the warranty coverage. There are warranties that are NOT transferable between owners, and this is important to understand.
- Many manufacturers' warranties DO NOT provide cost for travel, removal, and reinstallation of units, and may only provide limited-service time allowances. This means that costs that we incur that are not covered by the warranty are the responsibility of the vessel owner/broker and will be billed as such.
- Please note that we try to maintain our existing schedule for warranty service requests - but approval is required so there could be minor delays with regard to communication with manufacturers and could effect scheduling.
